Did a Facial and Makeover event for my company last Saturday at a sister branch location! Compared to my store, it is much larger, almost like a DT Nordstrom! It was lovely! So much stock and counter space to boot!

All in all, I had a lot of fun, met new cosmetic gals, made friends, and received a few gifts. Here's some of my great gets and buys!

Just a short post showing some sheet mask finds from window shopping at TJ Maxx and Ross. I will call them "Western" masks because they were created for "Spa" culture in America and not really advertised with skincare items. They caught my eye because the ingredients were ones found in popular Korean skincare products I've been researching. Do I expect them to be as effective as the Korean ones? No! But that won't mean I won't buy the heck out of 'em. Hit the jump to see what I bought.

MASKS You say?! Where?!Collapse )
No growth without assistance. No action without reaction. No desire without restraint. Now give yourself up and find yourself again.
—Li Mu Bai, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, 2000

Every so often, I like to take some time and "lose myself" to "find myself again." Sometimes you just need a moment to not be you, you know? Sure enough, this happened the day before my physics exam. I needed to let go of the panic. I did well by the way. Best exam score I've had all quarter.

One of my favorite ways to accomplish this is by window shopping uselessly at discount stores like Ross or TJ Maxx. Why not? I love to imagine what life would be like if I could purchase endlessly. I love to practice restraint and mental declutter. Mostly, just looking at things and packaging makes me happy.

I had two things I'd been meaning to look for anyway: 1) Sheet Masks from the Spa section and 2) Holiday Food Goodies. Yum. I even ended up finding something I'd been meaning to purchase at a much lower price. Score!

I'd love to do an order from Tester Korea next, just to get an idea of different companies' services. Here's some items I am strongly considering for a next Texter Korea order.

Uwajimaya prices added... Looks like I'll be going Prime.

Would like to establish a basic cleansing routine (primarily for the morning) with asian products.
Want to compare prices with Uwajimaya when I go there tomorrow.

Hello Lovelies!

I was in need of a place to log my skincare journey, so what better place than my 'ol livejournal account? This used to be solely my selling journal for the group pkmncollectors, but after completing my Friends Plush Collection a year and a half ago, it became inactive.

Time to repurpose!

I will post my skincare purchases, updates, and some reviews as well as progress pics as the weeks go by. Skincare is a journey after all, and why sprint when you can marathon? Anyway, I hope you enjoy as I adjust to this new format while still trying to keep my sales posts active.
